Our attention economy has forced mainstream media to process events, news, and information as a spectacle. Once the news feeds are over-saturated, the next spectacle emerges, keeping eyeballs glued to a never-ending conveyor belt of hyper-sensational and horrifying events.

This spectacle often involves an aesthetic dimension and celebrity, high contrast and high drama, and is highly public. Once a year, the spectacle is rainbow-coloured in a feeble attempt to forge an alliance with the LGBTQIA2S+ community and be seen as conscionable.

These observations are reflected in the subject matter of 'BOMBS (Back On My BullShit)’ and ‘BOMBS Rainbow Ed.’
